The STA Horary Course originated in 1996 as a way to teach horary through a “hands on” approach that was delivered as an intensive attendance course. With the growth of online teaching methods, the course has significantly evolved over the years. During 2019-2020 the course underwent major redevelopment and expansion. The course now utilizes all the benefits of modern technology to maximum effect, providing a training program that is accessible to every astrologer with internet access, whilst also being far more substantial and detailed than that delivered in previous years.
Some astrologers who have taken the STA horary course in the past have retaken the latest version of our course, and they find it to be a whole new experience: there is far more textbook material, an abundance of extra chart examples, a host of new resources, and every session is accompanied by student assignments and assessment which ensures each student is understanding the principles correctly.
With the development of our new Advanced Level Horary Diploma it is a requirement for anyone wishing to enrol onto that program to have successfully undertaken the latest version of our Certificate Level Course, (following its recent redevelopment) and to have completed all the assignments and studied all the chart examples that form part of that course.
Our main method of delivery for our Certificate Level Course is as a group experience of a 20-week online course. Although this is a very successful method of tuition, we want to make it easier for past students to gain our higher-level modern qualification without paying for the full cost of the course again. We have therefore developed this “Review Level Course” which is specifically intended for students who already have a good overview of the subject. This course is exclusively available to past graduates only, and it is provided as a convenient, self-paced revision course for astrologers who are looking to upgrade their previous STA horary training to match the standards of our more comprehensive, redeveloped course.
